G & E Insurance

Located in the rural centre of Picture Butte, Alberta, G & E Insurance wanted to present an image that would make their rural farm and ranch clientele feel at home.  So, the overall inspiration for the office was “Contemporary Prairie”or “Contem-Prairie” design.  All of the design decisions came back to this vision, from the grain bin that was used for the exterior signage, the table made out of a culvert for a base, the prairie skyline photograph incorporated into the front desk and even the vinyl barn board flooring.

Once again, I had the opportunity to install some local artwork into the project.  Jill Moloy a local artist from Lethbridge had painted an abstract Hay bale painting which fit into the theme perfectly.  The other artwork in the space is a collection of photographs of local barns, farm buildings and grain bins.
